"Mediation, a formidable force in conflict resolution, holds the power to transform crises into opportunities for positive change.

As Nelson Mandela wisely noted, 'Courageous people do not fear forgiving, for the sake of peace.' In the realm of conflicts, mediation emerges as the beacon of courage, steering societies toward forgiveness and lasting peace."

    Putting Our Experience to Work

KMT is a non-profit organization that specializes in conflict mediation and transformation. Our approach seeks to address conflicts in a way that benefits all parties involved by creating spaces for dialogue where different perspectives and interests can be heard. We believe that conflict is not only a problem but also an opportunity for positive change, and through our work, we aim to transform conflicts into opportunities for growth.

One of the ways we do this is through our KMT Dialogues Portfolio, where we offer engaging and thought-provoking discussions on a variety of critical issues. Our portfolio contains three issues that focus on the most pressing challenges facing our world today: informal settlements and their interactions with larger social and ecological systems, the future of fragile states and the impact of conflicts on global stability and security, and the multifaceted nature of food security crises in the context of a changing climate.

Through our conversations on the portfolio page, we provide a platform for diverse perspectives and constructive dialogue on some of the most complex and pressing issues of our time. Our goal is to contribute to ongoing efforts to address these challenges and to promote a more sustainable, equitable, and peaceful world.

We invite you to browse our portfolio and join the conversation. We hope that you find our discussions informative and thought-provoking, and we invite you to share your own insights and perspectives as we work towards a better future.

With their headquarters in Vienna, KMT has a presence in various countries globally. They have been involved in conflict resolution interventions in different parts of the world, including MENA, Asia, and Europe, and have impacted many individuals and communities through their work.
